For one charmed evening, discover a mystical twilight world in the hidden gardens at Blaise. Step through the portal and see nature transformed. Embark on a playful and magical journey and let your imagination run wild.
Use your special activity map to guide you as you make magical dens, silver roses, miniature gardens and paper creatures.
An innovative installation of light and sound created by UWE filmmaking students will illuminate the house. Explore the imagined forests of the future, where large wild animals are living once again.
The magic continues after dusk with a performance by young people from Travelling Light Theatre Company at 7.30pm.
Be tempted by sweet treats and warming drinks from our pop-up café, or bring your own picnic.
The spell will break at the stroke of 9pm.
Inspired by the Forest of Imagination events in Bath, The Enchanted Gardens is an exciting collaboration between Bristol Culture and 5x5x5=creativity. Jono Burgess and Grace Swordy are the lead artists and co-ordinators, with creative contributions from Alison Harper, Ebb and Flow, Oliver White, Travelling Light Theatre Company, Touchwood and Blaise Community Garden.
