Move and Shake the World

I am relishing the time to read 'Researching children researching the world' edited by the arts-based research project 5x5x5 creativity

Within its pages, alongside many inspiring case studies and a robust philosophical framework are many wonderful quotes and references, here is just one of them;

'Children need the freedom to appreciate the infinite resources of their hands, their eyes and their ears, the resources of forms, materials, sounds and colours. They need the freedom to realise how reason, thought and imagination can create continuous interweaving of things, and can move and shake the world.'

(Malaguzzi, ibid)
